Our considerable reputation on best practice community engagement in all areas of planning has been recognised in recent months, with work for England’s Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Welsh Government.
Jeff was part of the team with Planning Aid Wales that undertook research for the Welsh Government, now out in the report titled ‘The Value of Engagement in Planning’. There is a summary report and a full report available from Planning Aid Wales here.
More recently, Katie and Jeff ran a webinar for all the planners in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government about best practice community engagement, which led to Jeff being just one of three outside experts advising the Ministry’s planning team on how to move good engagement practice forward in line with the many mentions of engagement in the recent planning White Paper.
