RTPI South West and RTPI Midlands Awards for Planning Excellence 2020

We recently submitted three projects to the RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute) Regional Awards, so we were as pleased as punch that all three were shortlisted!

The regional Awards for Planning Excellence celebrate projects and people who have helped create exceptional places and improved the lives of those who live and work there; highlighting how planning and planners work to create a safe, healthy and sustainable future. Overall seven projects were shortlisted in the South West this year and six in the Midlands.

The South West judging panel decided to shortlist Palm Cross Green, Modbury in the category of ‘Excellence in Planning Delivery’ and also to shortlist our other submission, Cam Neighbourhood Plan and Design Code in the category of ‘Excellence in Plan Making Practice’. Ross-on-Wye Neighbourhood Plan was also shortlisted in the in the category of ‘Excellence in Plan Making Practice’ in the Midlands awards.

Find out more about the Modbury pre-application community engagement project here , Cam Neighbourhood Plan here, and Ross-on-Wye here.

Take a look at the RTPI website to find out more about the South West awards, and here for the Midlands awards.

UPDATE: Though we has three projects shortlisted we did not win…the competition was strong with excellent teams and projects so we can say we were happy to be in good company on the shortlist!
