Brilliant news! Place Studio has been shortlisted for ‘Small and Mid-Size Planning Consultancy of the Year’ at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) 2025 South West regional awards.
Preparing our award application was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on our recent work and our ongoing commitment to empowering communities to shape their local areas. We believe that by involving more people in the planning and design process, we achieve outcomes that are more informed, equitable, democratic, and, crucially, locally responsive.
As one of the teams we collaborated with over the past year highlighted:

We’re grateful to all the people we get to work alongside, communities and professionals. Our award entry is all about the collaborative work we get to do with them.
We’re heading down to Exeter next week to the regional awards event. We’re up against some great competition. We’re looking forward to meeting some inspiring people in planning at the event. Whoever wins, they’ll do the South West proud in the nationals later this year.
