Over the years, we’ve been lucky to work with a number of locally based universities, either on a longer term basis, as lecturers for the landscape planning module for post graduate students at the University of Gloucestershire, or as visiting practitioners at Bristol’s own University of the West of England.

This week we have been preparing for a session that we have been invited to hold as part of the urban design module (Achieving Design Quality) for 3rd years on the Urban Planning undergraduate course at UWE.

It’s a great way to reflect on our practice and to pass on of our experience about the value of community engagement in achieving design quality, and for us it’s also about a commitment to our professional and practice values (see our recent post for more!).
