We are pleased to have signed up to the West of England Placemaking Charter. The Charter has been developed by the West of England Combined Authority, to provide a framework for creating better places across the region.

In July, we attended the Placemaking Charter’s launch event at Design West here in Bristol, where we heard from experts in planning and design from across the region, as well as the government’s Chief Planner and the president of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

The Charter promotes the creation of places that are future-ready, connected, biodiverse, characterful, healthy and inclusive  – reflecting our approach to planning and design. The Charter is also all about bringing people and groups together to create better places – this collaborative approach is core to our work.
